Implementation Consultant

Position Summary:

·       The Implementation Consultant works closely with the Statements or Portal Product SME to implement the RevSpring Statement or Portal solution module.  He/she is responsible for taking RevSpring customers through our implementation methodology including requirements definition, requirements workbook completion, solution design, and where required, perform QA and testing.

·       He/she will own completion of the assigned workstreams across multiple implementations working with a team of specialists, including the Solution Engineer, to ensure customer requirements are vetted, documented, remain in line with product capabilities, inform design decisions for assigned workstreams, and ensure that the workstream functions and features align with the functions and features of other products and services within the project scope.

·       The role will work directly with client SME’s and stakeholders and collaborates with the RevSpring Project Manager and other matrixed project resources to define and deliver the client’s print and mail or online portal component of the solution.   The role is expected to actively drive best practices and adhere to the implementation methodology as well as providing inputs into new or enhancement of existing processes and collateral as part of the Solutions Engineer Practice Group.

·       He/she is responsible for working closely with support and product management functions to help inform and vet product enhancement requests vs custom development work.

·       As a member of the Solution Engineering team it is expected this role cross-skill/train on other RevSpring products with a view of developing from consultant into a SME and/or Solution Engineer.

·       This role requires occasional travel but is predominantly office based.

Position Responsibilities:

·       Serves as the Implementation Consultant for the assigned product; clearly defining and articulating how the product functions, base features, and how the product can meet client business needs

·       Collaborates with Solution Engineers, product management, support and sales on how to solve client business needs utilizing product base features

·       Maintains a product focused discipline limiting any custom configurations

·       Works closely with the implementation team; analyzes work-loads and keeps the Project Manager, Consultant Manager and Solutions Engineer informed

·       Participates in all Architecture Review Board sessions to understand the scope of client implementations, strategic client direction and any outstanding business needs

·       Helps facilitate as needed on organic growth engagements

·       Provides guidance to support teams as required to triage complex issues

·       Participates in all transition meetings within the Client support department

·       Maintains a strong working knowledge of RevSpring’s products, services and systems and utilizing that knowledge to offer direction/guidance to the team

·       Advises internal staff on product functionality, customer workflows and best practices for troubleshooting

·       Continually builds a knowledge base library of product focused functionality documentation for business continuity and training

·       Actively participates in the development of the Solution Engineering Practice Group, utilizing and introducing best practices

·       Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or similar level

·       Experience: 2-4 Years’ experience in a software product implementations role within Healthcare and particularly revenue cycle management

·       Supervision: N/A

·       Specific Job Skills: ARM and RCM industry knowledge, HFMA/ARM training

·       Certifications: N/A
