Product Manager - Epic Solutions

Position Summary:

This is a key position for a software/SaaS product leader who easily blends knowledge of Epic solutions with knowledge of RevSpring solutions to create a product integration that best serves our customers and drives relationships and growth. This dynamic product leader will establish the strategic product management leadership for RevSpring engagement and payment solutions within the Epic ecosystem, which is a key strategic initiative for the company. Responsibilities include ownership of a strategic Epic relationship, maintain “best” implementation standards for Epic environments, product and roadmap definition, Epic research and positioning, sales and marketing enablement, and establishment and measurement of product success metrics to support the organizations goals.  This person needs to be customer-facing to speak with customers about the various Epic products and be credible in how those products work and how RevSpring products support the Epic workflow.


This individual plays a proactive role throughout the entire product life cycle, ensuring that our products and services are effective at addressing marketplace problems and needs. This individual will meet with key internal and external stakeholders to educate and understand Epic, customer needs and opportunities, and the competitive landscape. This role will support and collaborate with development, sales and account teams, solutions delivery / implementations, and marketing to drive development and go to market for products and integrations that comprise RevSpring solutions for Epic customers.


We are seeking a candidate who understands Epic products and how to work within Epic to build solutions that drive customer value and differentiate RevSpring through development, integration and partnership programs, such as the Epic App Orchard.


Essential Functions:


  • Establish/maintain/build relationships within Epic to help RevSpring build and bring to market solutions that enhance value for Epic clients and gain support for RevSpring solutions within Epic
  • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap to support Epic and Epic customers
  • Drives product planning, design, and product requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Works cross-functionally to deliver products and features successfully to market
  • Researches and understands key Epic trends and ways we could utilize them in our business to improve results
  • Evangelizes with key internal and cross-team stakeholders
  • Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements for new and emerging products
  • Conducts market research and identifies and tracks market trends, competitive landscape and opportunities for products that integrate with Epic
  • Conducts marketing analysis to develop product definitions
  • Understands and evaluates potential use cases and works with product owners and development teams to translate user needs into functional requirements
  • Develops and maintains a prioritized list of market requirements for product
  • Provides financial and technical justification for product selection and definition
  • Works collaboratively with other product managers and product teams to drive the Epic strategic roadmap agenda across solution
  • Leads pricing analysis, recommends pricing strategies
  • Coordinates and develops marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans for product line
  • Produces, maintains and updates annual product forecast
  • Recommends strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs
  • Works with Product Marketing to establish the competitive positioning and product messaging based on market segments and buyer personas for marketing communications to use in sales and marketing materials
  • Communicates the value proposition of the products to the sales team and business partners
  • Ultimately responsible for launch of products related to the Epic solution set, working with Launch Manager on coordination of Leads product launch, including coordination of all technical deadlines, training requirements for internal and external stakeholders, and coordination with marketing communications and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment
  • Participates in key sales situations for the product, including product demonstrations, technical support and positioning

Position Requirements:


  • Person must have recently worked for Epic
    • Desirable if person worked for Epic in Patient Engagement, Payments, Print or similar area
  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree from college/university required
  • 3+ years of product or related service experience
  • Technology/software/SaaS experience required
